    The services we provide are based on scientific evidence and are tailored to your needs.   • Are your services right for me?
    We work with a variety of athletes of all ages from a variety of different sports. We work with you to help you be your best with the aim to improve your performance and support your wellbeing. We have helped athletes in various areas of sport performance such as: - Handling pressure - Dealing with performance anxiety - Boosting confidence - Managing emotions - Improving motivation - Enhancing concentration - Helping them rediscover the enjoyment of sport And much more!   • Where will the sessions be?
    We can discuss where is appropriate to undertake our work together, mostly our work is carried out online from the comfort of your home. However, we can also arrange in person sessions should you prefer.
  • How much will the sessions cost?

Charlie Miall is the lead sport psychology consultant

Charlie

Sport Psychologist (in training)

Charlie is the lead consultant at CM Performance and is based in Manchester. He is a practising Sport Psychologist (in training) who is passionate about helping you reach your sporting and personal potential. 

He is experienced at providing psychological support to players, coaches and teams. Most recently he has worked as the Head of Psychology at a football academy where he created and delivered a Psychology program that supported players from U9s - U21s. 

Beyond football, he provides psychological support to a range of athletes in various sports at the amateur, national and international level. He also has a background working in mental health where he supported individuals with complex mental health disorders and drug addiction.

 

He has an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology (Loughborough University), a BSc in Psychology (University of Leeds) and is currently undertaking stage 2 training with the British Psychological Society to become a chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

His own sporting background is in playing, competing and coaching in a variety of sports including Football, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & MMA, Snowboarding and Climbing. He also enjoys strength training, running and hiking.
